Panther G Commission build

I got a request to build a Panther based on a drawing from a Panther HG version with disc camo. Although these drawings may not be accurate it sure is a nice camo pattern :)

Panther A Early Finished

Not much update  recently, other things kept me busy and a facebook update is quiker then place a update here!

I got this Panther A Early on the shelf and finished it after a private collecter spotted a picture of it.
The only thing is to blend the tracks more with the groundwork but for now the endpics before i box it for collection by the buyer.

 

 

 

 

Winter Stug 2



Time for more weathering!

 

A thick wash is aplied with Vallejo trackprimer, all previous oversprays gives a nice variation. Only some mudtones and wet effects  after placed in the groundwork.

 

 

More weathering is made on the Stug. Dirt en mud is placed with dark oil colors and AK & Ammo enamel products.

Winter Stug

One of the projects for this year is this Dragon Stug F8 with winterketten. I build it about 2 year ago. Due a Whitewash build on a forum i decided to use this one.

Next to the painting and weathering i planned a muddy dio with ofcourse a "little bit of snow and water :)".

Weapon of choise

Basecoat slight CM but i kept i quite dark for the whitwash layer

 

 

 

I wanted a worn whitewash without removing complete white layers so after removing the top layer of with paint i drybushed some panels with the light grey out of the LC set.

 

Next i started to make a worn look with oils, fresh white paint in the corners and a few streakings and spots.

Merry Christmas

Another year past by, merry christmas to you all and a healthy and happy 2015! I am looking forward to all those stunning builds and hope to finish some myself ;)

Panther Italy?

Maybe you remember the Panther Italy i was working on..well i revised it some to this winter killer. Just didn't found the right look for the Italy Panther so i decided to make a whitewashed Panther of it.

I am working on a new base for it and hope to show some progress soon :)

Jumbo Bastogne finished

Got some catching up to do :)

I paint and weathered this Jumbo build by Herold Derksen, the kit is Tasca's superb kit painted and weathered with Tamiya and oils for weathering. The figures are from Alpine painted with acrylics and oils.

KO JagdPanzer Hungary 6, finished

A few projects are ready and new ones are one the table. One of the builds calling done is the KO Jagdpanzer, a fun project to do with a kit not up to the modern standards.

When i come across a nice JP kit i will make a more detailed shorted track version, but for now i am calling this one done :)

Stug G zimmerit II

I promissed some updates soon, so here it is. Still some building to do but the end is near :)

Stug G Zimmerit

Like i said in the previous blog i will try to give some more updates on this blog. The current build is this fantastic kit from Dragon. This 'zim' version is highly detailed and is a real jou to build.

 I am making a late war version with ' swing skirts' and concrete armor in a Berlin setting. The skirts are from Voyager and a set of Easy Links from the sockelshop gives this build the proper weight :)

The concrete armor is made from putty and there will be lots of little details made during the build.
