JagdTiger Porsche suspension part VIII

Final pics! The canvas on the roof isn't glued yet. The barrel is all done, the last dirt and wet marks are made. In the near future the JT will be featured in a diorama. Searching for right figure i fitted this Alpine figure and it is perfect for the dio.





The Alpine figure is painted with a basecoat of Vallejo and finished with artist oils.

This was a fun build, the premium kit is a very nice kit with all the extra stuff you want, ofcourse you can go balistic on more PE and other update sets but with the stuff out of the premium box and Friul tracks you have a nice kit.












I tried to keep this build subtile as possible but with the necessary look of a used verhicle.

    You did a wonderful job, the painting is beautiful. I apologize before you this observation: because you touched the welds, I think those holes that you see are not just beautiful. Do you require an excuse but I could not tell you that. Loris

    Thnx, i don't mind some your observation at all. I understand what you mean but i think ot looks more attractive this way and gives a better feeling to the thick pantser plates. The original kit welds are way to fine. Maybe that i had to tone it down a bit.. ;)

    Mine is not intended as a criticism. Let me explain: I am not a great modeller but I mean a bit of soldering, because where I built gear for forty years, there was also the welding department. Usually when am referring welds models use the two-component putty and then work with a hypodermic needle changed and I have one of each size I need. Whatever your model is always a great well made ​​and painted.All the best.

    Do not worry if you need some advice on building welding or other things as well ask you without scruples. While the painting is I who have to ask yourself why your method is very practical and you have wonderful results.
